Our Governors

What is our role?

The role of the governors in Knelston is hugely important.

We are all volunteers who care about children, learning and teaching.

The governors have overall responsibility for everything that happens in school.

We are here to represent those people with a key interest in the school, including parents, staff, the local community and the L.A.  

We act as critical friends who support the school but also challenge and ask questions about how the school works and the standards it achieves.

We also have a key role as a link between parents, the local community, the LA and the school.
